In the novel Bodega Dreams the character chino possesses a conscience of rather to join Bodega's kingdom or not or to stay put with his wife Blanca. Chino have to choose between money and pride or to lose his wife Blanca and their new born. As the novel progressed Chino decide to join Bodega's kingdom and to help him and Nazario. The decision chose by Chino might cause him to lose his love ones and shatter his dream of having a family.

In a way i agree and disagree because Chino does have to choose to either work for Bodega or not and might be at risk to loose Blanca but Chino has not really chosen to work for Bodega yet. He did help Bodega get to Vera but Chino though that Bodega will leave him alone afterwards. Chino is still undecided, if he should work for Bodega or keep working in the supermarket and keep on with his life with Blanca.

I agree with what you said but i also agree with Ana because although chino is completing the task given by Bodega hes not really happy.He wants to say no but does not know how to say and no one really gives him a chance to. I really liked your picture. I thought it really made sense with the story.
