"If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were."
This quote definitely speaks to me most because of the flow of logic. It's also very simple to envision too. Letting said loved one go and having him/her return confirms the love relationship, while letting the love go and then never having it be revived simply means the relation was not meant to be. For instance, the possibility that Vera loves Bodega and is actually returning to El Barrio not for that auditorium event, but actually for Willie.

ReplyDeleteHi Philip. I love your explanation and comments on this quote. I wonder if Bodega is clear-minded enough to think of this as a possibility. Bodega is clearly attempting to revive the relationship. Time will tell whether his efforts will implode this relationship or cause it to flourish.
ReplyDeleteGreat job.
..I also agree with you Filepe because if someone you loved ..was let go but came bak, that truley shows that real love exist and your relationship is al worth it. If your love doesnt come bak then it might of just wasnt meant to be..
ReplyDeletei like your prediction of what might happen between vera and willie and if that does happen it will give the story a nice twist.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Filepe because no matter how much time you spend apart from the person you love you always have them in your heart
