"The love that lasts the longest is the love that is never returned"
This quote means when a person has a strong love toward another person but is never return to them. In Bodega Dreams this quote relates a lot to Vera and Bodega because Bodega has never forgotten about Vera. Bodega Still feels the same for Vera since she got married and left to Florida with the Cuban guy. When Vera comes back Bodega might end up broken hearted because Vera probably has moved on and doesnt't have the same feelings towards him.

i totally agree with Anna in this quote because i think a prime example for this quote is the example she pointed out in Bodega Deams.
ReplyDeletei also agree with ana's response because bodega and vera haven't seen each other for a long time, and their relationship might not be the same again.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Ana. You hit it right on the head.Think about some of the factors that may have affected the change in Vera's love for Bodega. In other words, other than the presence of her husband, what are some other things that may have affected her love?
ReplyDeleteVera does not show Bodega his love back that why it probablywhy his love for her is still lasting so i agree.
ReplyDelete...i agree with you Ana . i also think bodega will end up broken hearted when he figures out vera is not for him and the love they once had is gone...
ReplyDeleteLike in a way i agree with you but what if she see's Bodega and all her feelings for him come rushing back?
ReplyDeletei agree with you ana but i also have another point of view which i wont tell you because then you would know the end of the book, but keep reading it because it might surprise you
