"If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were"
I like this quote because I actually believe in it. For example, if your in a relationship and you love the person but they feel that their love isn't as strong as yours then let them go & find their true love. If for some reason they come back its because they realized they actually do love you. I feel that this connects to Bodega Dreams because it kind of refers to Bodega & Vera; she loved him & he loved her but he had to let her go.
Question : What if the person did love you but never returned?

Then either he/she was to shy or was unsure weather the other person loved them back like what Bodega might experience with Vera (Vera might not be the same as she was during the Young Lords uprising/revolt.

ReplyDeleteI definitely agree. Right now Vera left Bodega but if she comes back to him then their love is real.
